Chris' hair

So Chris is now saying that he never made an agreement regarding his hair, there's nothing in writing, etc. In other words, he's backing down and demonstrating his inconceivable and unbalanced love for his own hair. Now I've known guys who love their wives hair, or their daughter's hair, maybe they even like to run their fingers through their dogs fur. But Chris has gone way too far in his love for his own hair! I need to know that I have the support of the entire youth group, the Zawiski family, and the local police - because we will shave that boys head!! It's only a matter of time! Chris, if you are reading this, I implore you as a friend and as your pastor; make it easy on yourself and be resigned to your destiny! Don't make us do this the hard way. We'll give you whatever support you need once the hair is gone; you can borrow our hats, we'll turn up the temperature when you come to visit so your head doesn't get cold, and we'll do our best not to laugh when you walk in the room!

I know...I know...

It's true, I won't deny it. I'm officially recognized as a terrible blogger. I'm humble enough to own up to my weakness. Can anyone help me to overcome this obvious character flaw? Anyway...let's be praying for Rachel Johnson. She just had all four of her wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and will probably be spending a few miserable days with her mouth. Was last night awesome or what? I thought it was a lot of fun. Personally I thought it was a significant upset for Tom's group to win. I'm not sure why but I kind of expected a girl's team to win. Not that girls are always more intelligent...they just seem to be...well, uh...forget it, I'm going to get myself in trouble! Ha ha! Pray for me too as I'll be traveling tomorrow. I will be gone for the next several days in Georgia helping the in-laws pack up, load the moving truck, and get moved up and settled here in PA (they’ll be living in the mission house for the winter). That means that I will not be to club next Wednesday night. Adam will be organizing the program for the evening and John Collins will be teaching. I'll be heading out with Dale Garnett at about 3:00 tomorrow morning. I plan on being “back to work” on Friday the 9th. I probably won’t take my computer so I doubt I’ll be checking email or Facebook. But please feel free to call me or text on my cell phone at any time. Hey, listen...I've been around with you guys for about a year now and I think I can officially say that...I THINK YOU'RE AWESOME!!! This has been a great year getting to know you guys and we look forward to more!!!

It's good to be back!

Hey! I'm real happy to be back into the regular WOL club schedule. The summer is great, it's just kind of disjointed and irregular as far as youth group goes. Unfortunately Blue Ridge's first track meet is tomorrow night so some of you probably won't be at club. That's OK, we'll see you next week! I'm sitting here in my recliner watching something that Bekah put on the TV. Of course I'd much prefer ESPN or MMA or something, but what's the difference, I'm typing anyway. By the way, we're going on vacation for a few days this week. We'll be gone from Thursday to Tuesday. As always you can call if you need anything, but I may not answer the phone! Ha! JK. OK. Talk to you guys later!

Trying out this new blog

Here I am sitting in my recliner at home, checking out this new blog that Karen set up for me. Something happened to the one originally linked to the youth group website so she's trying something new. Anyway...what should I talk about...well, last night was an awesome night at WOL club! We had a really big group and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to next Wednesday and to the whole upcoming year! I can't think of anything else to say at the moment except...GO RED SOX!!! and GO PATRIOTS!!!
